　　從本期開(kāi)始，我們翔宇教育報(bào)也有了雙語(yǔ)版啦！本版主要帶領(lǐng)大家對(duì)英美國(guó)家風(fēng)俗的了解，對(duì)英語(yǔ)習(xí)慣用語(yǔ)、英語(yǔ)新聞、英語(yǔ)笑話的介紹，還提供了一些英語(yǔ)小詩(shī)供大家賞析，以及對(duì)學(xué)生作品的展示，讓同學(xué)們?cè)谳p松愉快的環(huán)境中學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)。

Thanks to Crazy English

Last week, Mr li Yang came to our school with his two missions — to help 300 million Chinese speak good English and make the voice of China be widely heard throughout the world. Our school was luckily set up as Li Yang Crazy English Experimental School and we have held the Crazy English week.

The week was so exciting. Every morning, we got up early and gathered together on the playground to read English. It was so crazy that we all read out English crazily.

Now, although the Crazy English Week was over, I learnt a lot from it. Compared with the past, I have more passion to study English. What is more, I have known the importance of patience and persistence. The road to true success is never smooth and easy. Li Yang Crazy English has also helped me find more confidence. It isn’t difficult to conquer English any longer.

Thanks to Li Yang, thanks to the Crazy English Week. Practice makes perfect! I’ll try my best to study and just to be myself!      （寶應(yīng)中學(xué)08級(jí)29班 王愷）

 

Crazy English and I

I am lucky to meet with Crazy English. It tells me the secret of success. I have learned that success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has had to overcome while trying to succeed. If I want to be a successful person, I must work hard. Only by perseverance and determination, I can reach the top of my life.

English is a very important tool and powerful weapon, it’s a necessary skill for our life and success in the 21st century. In order to serve our country and our people and to communicate freely with the world. I must spend much time and energy in practicing English.

I’ll make my mind to get up early every day and read English at least half an hour. I believe success means constant practice and that success means constant hard work.

The crazy English said to me

When the others didn’t understand you, you must insist.

Most people cannot do it.

When the others are laughing at you, you must insist.

Most people cannot do it.

When the others are against you, you must insist.

Most people cannot do it.

When you are in trouble, you must insist.

When you are desperate, you must insist.

When you want to give up,

grit your teeth and then hold on.

All of this, a small number of people can do it.

Hold on ,baby.

You will find you have been the hero of yourself.

You will find you have been the master of your own destiny

You will find you have been a miracle that you cannot believe it.

This is the secret of success.

Thank You, Crazy English

Last year, the team of Li Yang’s Crazy English came to our school and lit our fire to learn English well.

I still remembered clearly how crazy we were when we were practising Li yang’ Crazy English for nearly two weeks. During which time, we always got up very early,reading English aloud on the playground for ten minutes and then,we might find spare time to read English for five minutes each time, eight times a day following the teachers. What impressed me most is that when we went to the playgroud early every morning it was still dark so that we must read with the help of road lamps. But we were very happy to do so. Though it was very cold, the air around us was very warm because of our passion.

Li yang’s Crazy English group always encouraged us to read aloud and insisted on learning some sentenses or paragraphs by heart everyday. We did it, and now we still read English for five minutes before the class begins, we still spend our spare time reciting five sentences or one paragraph every day, which can reduce the waste of time. Believe it or not, I think I’ve made great progress since I insist on practising Crazy English in listening and speaking.

In addition, in my opinion, the team of Li Yang Crazy English doesn’t only teach us how to learn English, but also shows us the spirit of Crazy English, namely if you insist on your dream, you’ll be successful. Thank you, Crazy English.

Crazy English and I

Have you ever heard Crazy English? Did you know someone had such a great matter in learning English just like you? I have to admit that I'm still in difficulties. But I remember once I made great progress when practiced the method of Crazy English. I adopted this method when I was a student. By learning crazy English I want to give some advice to you.

First, if you are an English starter, you’d better master your grammar. you can look for the useful things on the internet or in the books.

Second,the famous method of Crazy English is the "three-ly method"--practicing as loudly as possible, as quickly as possible, and as clearly as possible.

Third, the key point is that using the method of reciting English text crazily, this can help children improve the listening ability. For my part, I like listening to VOA.

At last, English is a tool for us to communicate with each other. Therefore, you should use it more in your life, no matter how old you are, you can start with the beginning of crazy English.   （淮安曙光雙語(yǔ)學(xué)校初中部 朱 旋）

 

The Spirit of Crazy English

What is known to us all is that the spirit of “Crazy English” contains three main aspects: goal, practice and perseverance.

First of all, goal is of great significance among others. In other words, goal is equal to a compass. Only by setting a definite goal can we devote ourself to achieving it in the direction.

Then, it’s practice that really counts when learning English. As a consequence, certain foundamental processes, such as, reading comprehension, vocabulary learning, writing, speaking and listening are vital for every learner to get through.

At last, the key to success lies in perseverance. In general, it’s a great pity to give up half way because of lack of perseverance and patience.

As a whole, goal, practice and perseverance are involved each other. No one can be exceptional. The combamination of three can assist you in leading to success.

李陽(yáng)經(jīng)典自我介紹

 

Hi, this is Li Yang. I graduated from Lanzhou University and majored in Mechanical Engineering. I was once a poor student of English, and it was my biggest headache and trouble maker. I got sick and tired of learning boring grammar rules and lifeless words. But through hard work in practicing speaking English and breaking away from the traditional grammar games, I found myself a totally different and exciting new world. Not only did I pass Band 4 and Band 6 College English exams very easily with high marks, but more importantly, I began to use English.

Finally, I developed a new Language Cracking System myself. I began to teach German not long after I started to learn this terribly difficult language in my own way. It was a miracle but I made it. To speak good English, I think one year of study should be enough for any diligent and intelligent person. I'd like to share my learning techniques with you, and I will be very glad to answer your letters and be your friend.

 

大家好，我是李陽(yáng)。我畢業(yè)于蘭州大學(xué)工程力學(xué)系。我曾經(jīng)是一個(gè)英文很差的學(xué)生（大學(xué)時(shí)代十幾門(mén)功課不及格），英語(yǔ)令我頭痛，讓我難堪。我厭倦了學(xué)習(xí)無(wú)聊的語(yǔ)法規(guī)則和沒(méi)有生命的單詞。但通過(guò)刻苦操練口語(yǔ)擺脫傳統(tǒng)的語(yǔ)法游戲，我發(fā)現(xiàn)了一個(gè)嶄新的、令人激動(dòng)的新世界。我不僅輕易高分地通過(guò)了大學(xué)英語(yǔ)四六級(jí)考試，更重要的是，我開(kāi)始應(yīng)用英語(yǔ)。

你經(jīng)常打的嗎？Do you often take a taxi? 那么你們知道在美國(guó)“打的”的規(guī)矩嗎？俗話說(shuō):“When in Rome, do as Romans do.”（入鄉(xiāng)隨俗）, 所以我們也要知道一些人家的風(fēng)俗。

In America, if you sit ahead when you take a taxi，the driver will be very happy. 在美國(guó)，如果你坐在車(chē)前座上，司機(jī)會(huì)很高興，他會(huì)一路上與你談笑風(fēng)生。But if you sit at the back, the driver will not say a word to you. 但是，如果你坐在后座上，司機(jī)則跟你一句話也不說(shuō)。即便你主動(dòng)搭訕，人家也愛(ài)搭不理的。

原來(lái)啊，如果你坐在前面，說(shuō)明你把司機(jī)當(dāng)作了朋友；你若坐在了后面，便表明對(duì)方成了純粹為你服務(wù)的司機(jī)，你們就是雇傭關(guān)系了。
